A newly refurbished third-floor apartment that was formerly the home of aviation tycoon Sir Frederick Handley Page is for sale through Wetherell.

The apartment at 18 Grosvenor Square, which was built between 1938 and 1939 but not occupied until 1946, features an English Heritage Blue Plaque for the aircraft designer and manufacturer, who entertained the likes of Howard Hughes and the Queen Mother while living there.

An entrance hall, reception room, a large kitchen and breakfast room, study and four bedroom suited feature in the apartment, which is for sale at £18,750,000.
