A one-bedroom flat in Mayfair, London, once ground zero for one of the greatest scandals of Victorian England, is now available to rent for £1,350 (US$1,755) per week.

The historic unit on Charles Street was the 1850s marital nest of art critic John Ruskin and his young bride, Effie Gray, a 20-year-old socialite who famously annulled the marriage after five years on the grounds of incurable impotence and ran off with Ruskin’s protege. The salacious love story (and lack thereof)—which included lavish parties the Ruskins threw from their Mayfair home—were the basis of multiple plays and films, including the 2014 flick “Effie Gray,” starring Dakota Fanning and Emma Thompson.
