Peter Wetherell FRICS
Chief Executive

Peter Wetherell is the Founder and Chief Executive of Wetherell responsible for over-seeing the sales, rental and development departments plus handling valuations where he is appointed by the Duke of Westminster’s Grosvenor Mayfair Estate as their Valuer for freehold and lease extension claims under the various leasehold reform acts. He acts as a Professional Witness for Mayfair residential values at Leasehold Valuation Tribunals (LVT).As a development agent he has been responsible for the sale of over 100 office buildings reverting back to their former residential use creating over 250 new homes as houses and apartments. He has advised or is advising on a number of residential schemes in Mayfair for Grosvenor, Land Securities plc, British Land plc and others to bring residential life back to Mayfair as London’s No.1 area. There is currently 538 homes in the planning pipeline which represents 12.5% extra on the existing housing stock. Peter is heralding this as “Mayfair’s Golden Decade”.

A former Chairman of the central London branch of The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), Peter was elected as an Eminent Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2014. He is a Director and Board Member of The Central London Estate Agents Ltd (CLEA) who publish The London Magazine for all of London’s leading estate agents and distributed to 80,000 prime central London addresses. He also sits as a Non-Executive Director of LonRes, the premier intranet data source and network for the leading estate agents of London.

He has worked in Mayfair for over 40 years and in 2017 will celebrate 35 years in business for Wetherell as the leading specialist residential Mayfair estate agents. He is Chairman of The Mount Street Traders’ Association and sits on the board of a number of Stakeholder groups in the area. Peter has a keen involvement in local issues and community projects having lived in Mayfair for a number of years and brought up a family in the area.

He has the 2016 Mayfair Times Award for “Services to the Mayfair area” and has the Spear’s 2016 Award as one of the Top 5 Prime London Estate Agents.

Peter and Wetherell are frequently quoted and referenced by international, national and local media for Mayfair and prime central London and his current “pet phrase” is “Don’t wait to buy in Mayfair – Buy in Mayfair and wait”.

James McManus
Managing Director

James joined Wetherell in 2004. As Managing Director he advises on all aspects of Mayfair and West End property, specialising in Sales, Developments and Valuations and has been personally involved in over £1 billion worth of property transactions .

In 2013 he gained a Masters degree in Real Estate and Finance. He lives in West London with his wife and two young daughters.

Rob Windsor
Director, Sales & Developments

Rob has 13 years’ experience selling and acquiring property for a loyal client base across Prime Central London, with specific focus on Mayfair for the last 10 years. During this time Rob has amassed large portfolios for clients, advised on the acquisition and disposal of many development sites and has been instrumental in the marketing and subsequent sale of some of London’s most desirable homes, transacting on over £650m worth of property.

Most recently Rob has been the lead consultant on the hugely successful Clarges, Mayfair development for British Land.

Jayne Weldon
Marketing Director

Jayne has been with Wetherell since November 2005. Evolving from PA to Peter Wetherell, Jayne looks after the company Brand and Image as well as Co-ordinating Marketing, PR, SEO and Website. She also runs the Mayfair Traders Association and co-ordinates events such as The Mount Street Christmas Lights Party.

Andrew Bishop

Andrew Bishop F.R.I.C.S. has over 35 years’ experience as a Chartered Surveyor working in the Central London property market.

He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1974 (M.R.I.C.S.) and was elected a Fellow (F.R.I.C.S.) in 1980.

Andrew first came to London in 1978 to establish the Parsons Green (Fulham) office for Jackson-Stops & Staff and in 1980, opened the Chelsea office in Milner Street and became the youngest main board director of that firm. He ran the Valuation Department until joining Hamptons as a partner and starting his own firm, Bishop Beamish, in 1986.

As an R.I.C.S. Registered Valuer, he has a broad professional base in all aspects of both residential and commercial general practice valuation matters, including lease extension work under the Leasehold Reform regulation (Enfranchisement).

He is a member of the Chartered Surveyors Livery Company and a past committee member of the R.I.C.S (South London).

Pollyanna Hunter
Lettings Manager

Pollyanna Hunter joined the Wetherell lettings team at the beginning of 2015. With over 7 years of experience in prime central London lettings she took over as Lettings Manager in 2017.
Two years in a row she has won prestigious ‘LonRes` awards including the 2018 ‘Central London Let of the Year’ for property at £30,000 per week in Mayfair.
Pollyanna is a proud member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).

Polly Ballantine
PA to Peter Wetherell

Polly joined Wetherell in 2014 after a year working on a Game Reserve in Kenya. Her experience with wild animals has given her an advantage in Estate Agency. Her role in the office is PA to Peter Wetherell as well as assisting the Residential Development Director.
Polly works on all elements of news homes, sales and is trusted and valued by clients and purchasers alike.
